The aim of the 545 swimming program is to teach all students safety and confidence in the water.

The aim of the 545 swimming program is to teach all students safety and confidence in the water through instruction in water safety, survival skills, efficient stroke development and encouragement of participation in water activities for leisure.

The school provides a ten week swimming program for all grades across the school each year. Each grade swims for one term only.

The program is based on the R.L.S.S.A. Swim & Survive program.

Swimming Competition

Students who excel in the 545 House Swimming Carnival have the opportunity to represent the school in the Sale & District sporting carnivals. If successful at this level students may progress to the Wellington
Zone, Gippsland and then at the State Championships.
